A message from our Head Teacher: COVID-19
Please make sure, if your child is returning to school, you have watched one of the videos before you arrive to find out about all the measures we have put in place for the safety of all. You also need to be aware of the new drop off times and system that we have changed slighlty since the video was made; New drop off times: Y3, Y4, Y5, Y6 8.45 – 9am Nursery, Reception, Y1 and Y2: 9 – 9.15 Families please arrive at 9am
Pick up times: Y3, Y4, Y5, Y6 : 3pm Nursery, Reception, Y1 and Y2: 3.15pm Families please collect as usual at 3.15pm
At Unity we have begun to reopen to all children. From 1 June we welcomed back Nursery, Reception, Y1 and Y6 and after 3 safe and successful weeks with lots of new measures in place we opened to all other year groups. School is now operating a ‘bubble’ of 15 children in each class and can take no more children in school while current restrictions (not more than 15 in a class) before the summer holidays.
This is an unprecedented situation and we are all constantly learning to adapt to the situation around us. All of the staff have continued to work hard throughout lockdown to provide education through Class Dojo for their classes. A number of new measures have been put in place to keep everyone safe in school and all staff are looking forward to welcoming ALL children back in September.
The situation may well change over the summer but we will communicate using email as much as possible so please make sure the office are aware of your email address. Updates that you need to be made aware of will be shared on Class Dojo, the school Facebook page and on this website.
Have a peaceful summer,
Best wishes to all,
Mrs Lee and the Unity team
Together we will set our children on a path to fulfil their dreams
