During the current lockdown, we have all children with EHCPs in school full time, with their usual TA2 support in place to ensure their learning and wellbeing needs are met and appropriate interventions are carrying on as normal.

Other children with SEN are being taught online every day, with live lessons either on Zoom, Class Dojo or on MS Teams. A few children are accessing learning through paper work packs, which their 1:1 TAs are creating with appropriate work and activities and we are delivering to home regularly.

Attendance on live lessons and engagement of SEN children online is being closely monitored and class based staff and the Family Support Worker Team are contacting any families whose engagement is a cause for concern.

Most outside agencies are still conducting assessments and meetings as usual, most virtually rather than in person.

Liaison with families is ongoing re: their children’s progress and wellbeing, via regular phone calls and meetings, where appropriate.
